Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.

Some Korean Music O.o

Dear DeviantART diary,

     Junsu-TARANTALLEGRA= I was watching this Korean music video and i didn't know how it's got it's name. So to find out, i goggled what it meant and what i found was kinda funny......i said KINDA okay O.o. So what i saw was that 'TARANTALLEGRA' was a spell used in Harry potter from the character Draco Malfoy, and he used this spell against Harry to make him dance uncontrollably O.o

     Okay so i'm not a fan of Harry Potter but this is kinda funny....i never knew that a spell that could make you dance will be so hard to say O.o jkjkjkjkjk but anyways the music video for 'TARANTALLEGRA' is kinda..."WOAH!"(sluty?? O.o) like but it's really good and the lyrics are kinda catchy.

     So just the other day i was watching PSY-Gangnam Style , and truthfully that music video is just so random.So I remember that there ware those videos about teens like for example: 'Teens react to my little pony' or 'Teens react to salad fingers' O.o. So i looked up 'Teens react to Gangnam style'. It was so funny they were asking the teens what they think the title was and like this one guy said 'Open a condom store' O.o and like i'm in the background laughing my a** off O.o. but anyways that was really funny.

So i haven't been writing a diary a lot.... but my next diary will be a story. My sister made the concept or the general idea of the story and since she didn't want to continue it cause it will be a hassle..... i just decided to continue it for her. YES i got full permission which really shocked me because my sister kinda dislike me O.o lolz?
